SPRING 2025 APPRENTICESHIP

Our beginner beekeeping courses for 2024 are currently complete, and we are now booking for 2025! Classes include 2 weeks of beekeeping review and equipment assembly and up to 4 weeks of hands on bee handling. Classes are limited to 6 people.

Spring 2025 Queen Grafting

Our advanced beekeeping courses are designed for those who have all their gear, equipment, and bees and are struggling being comfortable in a hive. We offer on hands time, identification of drones, workers, and queens, and show problems and how we tackle those issues in our apiary. We also offer courses on queen grafting encouraging you to graft your own queens and make your own splits to keep your apiary sustainable.

BEEFRIEND - HONEY BEE STEWARDSHIP

This service offer you the opportunity to own a beehive. We will come set up the hive, fill out the paperwork, place a beehive on your property, and care for the bees. During the season any honey that can be sustainably harvested is extracted and returned to you or we will purchase it for market price. For those who already have hives and equipment and need help managing those hives, we also offer a hive management service for farmers or outfits that have hives and need someone to manage them through the yea
