Oxalic Acid Varroa Mite Treatment

Professional oxalic acid vaporization treatment for honey bee colonies to help control Varroa mites. Oxalic acid is especially effective when colonies are broodless or have very little capped brood, making late fall and early spring excellent times for a single treatment.

When significant brood is present, multiple treatments may be recommended because oxalic acid does not kill mites protected beneath capped brood. Treatments can be scheduled individually or as a multi-treatment course based on colony conditions and mite levels.

Treatment is performed using an EPA-registered oxalic acid product according to label directions.

Pricing is per treatment visit:
$50 for the first hive
$10 for each additional hive at the same location
